How much did you like the webcomic? Find out which Homestuck character you're most like. Homestuck shows us the story of John Egbert and his groups of friends who start playing a game and end up having control over humanity's fate, which is based on how they play the game. if i forgot someone important i can always add them later. i tried to include all of the relevant characters. take the quiz to see what homestuck character you are the most similar to.The current colection of over 20 characters is largely by Mozai and akaisha0 and designed for the program Shimeji-EE (check the website for instructions).
Shimejis are little interactive characters (desktop buddies or mascots) who play around in and on your computer's windows while you do something else.
Changed the way to check for updates, it now checks with the Homestuck^2 RSS feed instead of English Shimeji-EE (Mischevous is better but either flavour will do) click on one of the download links below to get a.zip file.Removed the spot for the Alpha Kids, since they won't be added.
It was fun to do, but I have other stuff to work on now. This project is pretty much done, maybe I'll update it if it needs bugfixes or something.
It no longer checks for updates, so there's that.
The Linux version may be a little buggy, depending on the Desktop Environment or Window Manager you use, so please feel free to report any bugs you encounter. Linux version already here (that was a Homestuck reference. Supports multi monitor setups (in theory, at least it works on mine).Ĭurrently only John, Rose, Dave and Jade are available, but I plan on adding the Alpha kids eventually. No more update checking, since Homestuck^2 won't have a regular update schedule anymore. The Homestuck Kids, now on your desktop! Watch them hang around while you try to work, study, or do anything remotely productive! Don't let them distract you too much! The program also notifies you whenever Homestuck^2 updates, connecting to the Homestuck^2 RSS feed every 30 seconds.
